Committee members Alice Tanaka Hikido and Mary Tanaka Abo viewing George Tsutakawa’s memorial sculpture entitled “Harmony”. It is located near the entrance of Puyallup’s Western Washington Fair Grounds. Alice and Mary were evacuated to the Puyallup Assembly Center, temporarily called Camp Harmony, in 1942 before being transported to Minidoka Internment Camp in Idaho where they were held for three years.
